In the event of an accident or collision, you can trust Key Collision Centers to take care of you and your vehicle. We have the best facilities and technicians in the business — and the industry certifications to prove it.

Why Are Certifications Important?

You wouldn’t trust an uncertified surgeon in an uninspected medical center, would you? It’s a similar deal for vehicle technicians and repair facilities.

The most trusted and reputable auto body repair shops put in the effort to maintain the highest certifications possible. Many of these involve rigorous vetting processes, challenging tests and specialized training, as well as an investment in specific tools and equipment required by each manufacturer. Most certifications require annual or routine re-testing to keep technicians and facilities up to date with new tools, technologies and processes.

Our Certifications

I-CAR Gold Class
Our locations are certified by I-CAR Gold Class, which is the highest designation for collision repair services. In the U.S., only 20% of auto body repair shops meet the demanding training requirements of I-CAR Gold Class standards.

Maintaining this certification requires annual training and testing to ensure that our technicians are up to date with the newest vehicle makes, models and technologies. Ongoing training covers the latest repair processes and technologies, how to make the right repair and replacement decisions and how to make the safest repair decisions.

S/P2
The Safety and Pollution Prevention certification is designed to keep auto body repair technicians and staff compliant with EPA and OSHA training guidelines. The training teaches professionals how to recognize hazards in the workplace so that they can maintain a safe and environmentally compliant shop. All of our locations have S/P2 certified technicians on staff.

AAA
AAA-approved auto body repair shops are thoroughly vetted to ensure that they are clean, comfortable and equipped with the proper tools and technologies. AAA also verifies that approved facilities continuously meet member service satisfaction standards, and that technicians maintain the proper proof of training and certifications. All of our locations are AAA-approved.

ASE
Automotive Service Excellence certifications are awarded to technicians who complete at least two years of relevant work experience and pass a rigorous exam. Technicians are required to retest every five years to keep their certifications up to date, and to ensure that they apply the most current knowledge to repair processes. We have ASE-certified technicians at all of our locations.

BASF
BASF is the world’s leading chemical company and an expert in vehicle paint colors and coatings. Our technicians receive BASF technical training, and all of our locations utilize BASF advanced paint technologies and color information systems to make damaged vehicles look brand new again.

Manufacturer Certifications

To achieve manufacturer certifications, our repair facilities are routinely inspected and our technicians are rigorously tested. The following manufacturers have thoroughly evaluated our team, facilities, equipment and processes and have recognized us as a quality repair facility.

Ford
As a part of the Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN), our facilities have proven to deliver on Ford’s standards for safe and high-quality collision repairs.

Subaru
At Key Collision we have Subaru Certified technicians who have the proper training, procedures, tools and equipment to restore your vehicle to factory standards.

Note: Exact manufacturer certifications may vary by location.
