**Position Overview:**
The Senior Collision Technician is responsible for guiding and training junior technicians in complex repair tasks. While still engaging in hands-on work, the focus is primarily on overseeing larger or more challenging projects and imparting knowledge to the next generation of technicians.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Mentorship and Training:**
– Provide guidance and support to junior technicians.
– Demonstrate advanced repair techniques and safety protocols.
– Develop training plans to enhance team skills.
2. **Technical Oversight:**
– Assess project complexity and allocate resources.
– Supervise and assist junior technicians during repairs.
– Ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
3. **Collaboration and Communication:**
– Coordinate with other departments for seamless workflow.
– Communicate effectively with customers and management.
4. **Documentation and Compliance:**
– Maintain accurate repair documentation.
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications:**
– Proven experience in collision repair.
– Extensive knowledge of repair techniques and tools.
– Strong communication and leadership skills.
– Certification from recognized automotive organizations preferred.
**Note:** The Senior Collision Technician plays a crucial role in training and guiding the next generation of technicians while ensuring high-quality repair services.
